Come on out and we will line em up! I know the air is bad but I want to get a comparision with the intake and more tuning.

Too bad the track wasn't open last weekend when the air was good.

I looked at this time slip and compared it to your others run on the same day, and the car number on this slip appears to look different than the ones on these submitted in this thread for 10/26/07.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...postcount=2108

Most of them look like car 213 this one looks like 216 ????

...

Also, can anyone read the car number of the first and last yellow slip in the top row here. I am having a tough time making it out.

The first yellow, I believe is #232 because I can make out the trap speed and ET and it matches the large yellow #231 slip. The last yellow in that top row I am thinking is #216 because the numbers I can make out from it match the larger #216 slip.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...postcount=2098

One here on the bottom row reads 231 vs 213.

I'm having a time following the slips here. Any help appreciated.

Thanks.
i read 213 216 on the same day how is the 12.22 run possible

Jesus Christ you guys, the tower just messed up my number. Like I said you can speak with the Subie I raced on the 12.22 run:
http://www.centralvalleyspeed.com/fo...ted=1#post9715
They messed up twice on the first run and then again on the 3rd/4th. My number was 213, the errors were 216 and 231.

Niners scored woohoo!

You would think if I wanted to fake slips I would make all the numbers the same. The slips are all mine and I had witnesses from LS1tech.com, clubgp.com, westcoastpontiacs.com, california fords, and centralvalleyspeed.com there.

Please stop with the inquisition, I will be going back to the track in three weeks. And once again like the last two times I went, everyone is welcome to come to Sacramento and see me run.

Niners scored woohoo!
Woa, woa, there big fella, just asking, just asking.

Yeah the fall air definitely helped but I'm sorry, I have to call on that 564mph trap speed, I have yet to see even a headered/cammed C5 run anything faster than 460mph in the 1/4...now if you had gone like a 12.9 or 13.0 instead of that 13.1 then maybe I could believe it.

Its gotten too cold in my neck of the woods. Tracks still open, good air, but poor traction in weather like this, 46* out there now. Ground gets too cold.

Actually, with my Eagle F1 A/S-C EMT's, I welcome this weather at the track. These all season tires provide super grip in cold weather, albeit less grip in real hot weather. That's OK, cuz I only run at the
strip/road track in cool weather.

11-04-07 at Houston Raceway Park
2008 1LT
A6
Standard suspension
2.73 gear, NPP exhaust
factory run flat radials
Headers, CAI, tune, tstat, Z51 rear bar

First pass of the night (11.894 et) is w/TM enabled. Second TM disabled. Logged minimal KR in the upper rpm. Need to add a little fuel there but this is about the best this automatic is going to do with a 77* IAT w/73% humidity. Unless I can find a way to eliminate launch TM. No loss of traction noted on either pass.

8850-Great times!! Who needs a ZO6 when you got a 2008 A6 doing 11.8's ! Nifty 60's too!
You picked up about 1/10 with TM disabled which is about what I got too.

True, and you're currently out trapping him WITHOUT headers (and his passes were at a normally amazingly fast track too), just imagine where you'd be with some long tubes/tuning.

Yes but his 330-1320 is still .19 better than my best, .14 w/ TM. Didnt he say 72* and 73% humidity, mine was 58*, 43%.

Getting a tune a couple weeks, but I cant make the car louder right now, maybe next year...

Congrats again 8850!

8850,
Great Times !! I have a question, i know that you tune your own, so is that tune gonna stay in the car or is that tune just for the track? Just wondering how safe the tune was? Thanks ahead of time

Great times Larry! Just wait a couple more months when you can run in some cooler air and you'll be mid 11s for sure! Maybe even 11.4s!!

Good meeting you too Rich. And welcome to Houston! Hope to see you again. Did you get in another pass? Track sure was crowded last night. I might have gotten an 11.7? had I been able to make another pass. Wanted to richen it a tad to eliminate the KR and try again but not with the long, long wait.

Patrick, Cooler air should give me a little more. Ready for it too! I ran the ac on the way to the track last night.

Tony B4, Yes, I consider my tune safe for street. I would not run with TM disabled however. And as I've metioned I need to bump up my AFR just a tad at the upper rpms.

HRP was running slow last night though...everyones mph was down about 2mph from what I could tell with everyone I was racing with.
