How Do You Clean Cashmere Seats?
Several thousand miles ago I noticed the driver's side seat back was turning dark. I was puzzled as to why it was 'dirty'. Today I found out why. I think it is my belt!! I put on an old belt today and the dye came off on the seat back side bolsters. The new deposits came off very easily with Armor All Leather Cleaner but I am not able to clean the old stain in the center of the seat back.
I've tried several other products to clean it including, as a last resort, Goo Gone and WD-40. Nothing works. Any recommendations?

Tuff stuff. You can get it at any parts store. Works wonders. The other thing that works like magic is "Goo Gone." Yes, I know this isn't goo sticky stuff, but it works!

I'm guessing here and I hope not but leather dye absorbed into the seat back might be impossible to completely remove. Naturally toss that belt. Maybe ask a quality custom leather shop in your area to see what they say. I'm curious....post back and let us know what worked.

Not from China or Texas, its from France. And you know how much they know about cars....
Considering all the stuff you've already used, you may have already set the stain in the leather. I'd take the suggestion and go to a leather shop for auto interiors and see what they can do.

PM me your address and I'll send you some of the leather cleaner I use. Commercial product sold in 5 gallon pails. Some of the other stuff people are recommending may do much more harm than good. Out of curiosity, do you know the source of the discoloration? Can you post a closer photo? Are you sure it is color transfer (black on cashmere) rather than loss of color (cashmere leather dye wearing off)? All important things to know in the attempt to cure what ails you......
In another life, I owned and operated a car detailing facility and I am absolutely fanatical about car care. In fact, it is now my therapy - I go out in the garage and clean my car to relieve me of the stresses of my present job.
If you were nearby, I would say bring it by and I would give it a shot.

Had the same issue with black scuff marks. Used a little "goo gone" on a rag, and they came right off. I had thought they would be permanent when the Tuff Stuff wouldn't take them off. Tuff Stuff usually cleans everything. But with a little Goo Gone, they came off no sweat.
