Hi Guys,
I am in Toronto right now for the World Challenge race so I can't tell you what the AF was exactly but it was not lean because my guys would have told me if it was.
Our headers are 1 3/4" which have been good enough for big hp even on the LS7 engines. (we hit 630rwhp with cam/head/headers) Plus the torque increase at the lower rpm range is where most of us drive our cars on a daily basis. Torque is awsome, and I hate waiting till 6000rpms to feel the power.
We expect that this engine with a cam package to hit above 480 benefiting from the cu in and superior head flow.
These heads flow more stock than ported LS6 heads, so it won't be hard to get the power.
Thanks guys. This new car is going to be fun. It will make every corner gas station look like a "Tuner".

Congrats on the big numbers.....wish I had held out for the 08's now. A little sick after those wrhp+tq numbers....lol. Oh well, I guess I'll save my pennies and work towards an 09 or so next year......I just don't want the 1st gen C6s to take on the status of the earlier C4s.....that'd be sad.

Lou or Bobby,
Do the heads have the casting numbers of 823 or 5364?
So that would mean that the LS3 is using L92 heads with lighter valves.
Also the intake is the L76 intake right?

This is bad news for myself! I was going to wait a good year or so before buying a 08, but with numbers like this i may end up shopping for a 08 this sumer. Better save my pennies!

yep.
Depends on the dealership.
I have taken mine in with the headers and the tune twice since.
The first time for the rear axle click. They tightened the rear axle nuts and applied Loctite supposedly. I really don't know what they did, because I had torqued the axle nuts up to spec myself before that trip to the dealership and it did nothing for the click. But after they did what they did, the click on take off stopped.
Initially they told me that the click was due to my "aftermarket exhaust" so they definitely knew about the headers.
I also had the Service Active Handling light come on and they replaced the sensor according to the work order. This was a part they had to order in.
