If you had to choose one!

Which would it be and why? Vararam intake or new exhaust. I really don't want to do a whole lot...I like the car pretty much the way it is. Any feedback would be helpful in making my decision. Thanks

since you say you like the car the way it is, i would go with the vram. you won't be able to hear the difference but when you get onto it you will know the the difference.

I'd do Vararam,as long as the system was in alignment. Not only do misaligned surfaces leak debris, but the turbulence (ie. drag) caused will reduce air volume (hence power.) Dirty air robs torque. How good is the filter element at cleaning vs. flow?
The exhaust system breaths better than the intake side. (unless you're going stepped tube headers,no cats,no mufflers.)

Tough choice! Vararam = $350.......Exhaust(cat backs) = $700+
Vararam will give you more SOTP feel.....exhaust will give more rumble and probably more positive feedback from friends & admirers.
I have both, but if I had to choose one I'd go exhaust, the car is already fast, I think the exhaust adds more character!

I'd do both!
Buy a flowmaster catback for $350 and a K&N airhcharger for $275.
Both for $625
My 2006 C6 with just a K&N aircharger and a Corsa Sport catback ran a 12.55@115.85.
I should have stopped there.
Since headers and a tune it is slower

Hmmm..is the reduced speed due to more wheel spin causing reduced 60ft times or is the car just not tuned correctly? Just wondering, as I am about to do a cam/headers/tune install shortly and haven't track tested the car stock.

Bad tune, mph was down and then after a retune mph was only up by 0.37mph.
I just had it retuned by a new tuner and it made 14rwhp more, heading to the track this weekend to go for some new bests.
Even if my driving was not great, the mph would still go up with more power if it had been there before.
