Default Do any of you have a little play in your steering wheel?

This is hard to explain, but I have about 1/2 inch of looseness or "play" in my steering wheel. When I'm driving, I can move the wheel either left or right about 1/2 inch without the car moving with the wheel. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have no play in mine at all but I do feel that the power steering is ever so slightly overboosted maybe, literally my ONLY potential gripe with this amazing car.
I wish there was a way to alter the Magnasteer through LS2 Edit/HP Tuners/EFI Live somehow.

Has the steering rack ever been out of this car? If the steering shaft coupler (where it joins the rack) isn't torqued properly, you will get that exact play at the wheel.

Had looseness in the steering wheel. When going straight if I turned a little left then a little right also had a slight click nooze in the steering wheel.

Found out it was a loose steering shaft coupling bolt

Had the same problem when I bought my car. A bolt was loose on the steering shaft on mine too. Let the dealer check it out. They tightned mine and haven't had the problem since.
