I would be happy to be able to do the fronts for 1k.. Everywhere else I turn is 1500-4000 for the front brakes only.
Gene at fred beans is selling the whole setup
4 calipers all rotors and pads for close to $1700

Oh I know $802 for the fronts without pads... I wouldn't go with stock pads anyway... probably an 82 or 01 compound.

Im pretty sure the back brakes would be worthless to me anyway. ... If not it might be time for a wheel change... would the stock Z06 rear brakes be able to fit onto my solid rear axle.. I doubt it but still.

I want ask some more questions.. i have heard that the C6 brakes bolt right onto the c5's? is this correct?

Also does anyone know the distance from centerline to the outer most edge of the caliper. I want to know what wheels I can use. Also, whats the bolting circle for the c6? Im trying to find rims that will fit my wheel wells, considering my 16's wheels rub, I definitely need spacers.

Maybe you could use the 4 pot calipers on the front (& rear.) Smaller rotors will give you more room with those 16's. PBR (Australia) builds the Z06 brakes for Chevy.

I just measured the centerline to outer most edge of the caliper: 8.00" exactly! The caliper outer edge to rim ID gap with OEM wheels is 5/16ths". Don't forget the tape-on wheel weights will make this gap even smaller.

Is there any way of actually making the Z06 big brakes fit on stock wheels? What if you get your stock rims widened, there a way to make them fit then. I planned on getting my black motorsports widened to around 12".

It is not the width
It is the offset and the height

Thanks, Im gonna do a little bit more research, I'm excited that they are 8".. Im gonna have to take a bunch of measurements this weekend. (I'm 120 miles away from the car right now), I'm gonna have to double check the interior wheel diameter on the Iroc's.. Because I know they are different from most other 16" wheels. (They can pull over a g on the skid pad with mcpherson struts and a solid rear so take your pick).

I might start picking up the c5 parts needed for the swap until I can get the cash for the brakes.

Thank you..

Also, I was sent a link to the PBR calipers last night.

Again Thank you.
