Where is the navigation antenna located ? I thought its in the windsheild. Right or wrong?

On my 05, it is a rectangular black box at the top of the windshield, inside the car, above the rear-vew mirror. It is not small and not "inside" the windshield

That black box in your windshield is the Onstar box not the NAV antenna. The antenna is located in the middle of the dash board, its pretty small.
