z06 panels on a z51
will all the parts fit? i bought the front , the 2 front carbon panels and the 2 rear panels. will i have a problem putting them on? one person said that you have to do a little trimming in order to make them fit. (trim what?)

I think the trimming was talking about putting the Z06 outer rubber guards (can't remember what they are really called) onto the regular C6 rear quarters. You should be fine. In fact, be sure to post your results in getting it all on there.

It wasn't me, these are shots from MTI down in Houston. There is a Monterey Red vert getting the same treatment. Both cars are getting 427's as well.
I've been thinking about doing it to mine, but can't really justify it.

I like the Carvaggio wide fenders without the scoops better. They retain the smooth lines of the C6. Trying to decide between wide fenders or a mini-tub.

I think I'm going to be going this route with my convertible also. Also add the Z06 brakes and GM Z06 wheels to the list. The wheels are the main reason for doing all of this (well... at least they are a good excuse ). Someone mentioned that the rear bumper has a different part number for the Z06 but everything looks to be the same. I'm currently looking for a good (I mean good) body shop to take care of the paint. Overspray isn't an option and I don't want anything to be a different color in a year or two. This is the main reason why I usually don't do any exterior mods like this.
