Regarding your last comment, I have some bad news for you. Guess who owns B.F. Goodrich? Yep-Michelin owns them.

I have been thinking about the KDWs or the Toyo T-1Rs for track tires. Sure they won't have as much grip as R compound tires but they should be better than the F1 GS-2 runflats and cheaper too.

That's why I bought the Falken's over the PS2's plus I had enough left over for 6 cases of California Cabernet!
PS 1200miles and they ride great no noticable wear at all.

Default As time goes by there will be more accessories available for the C-6

I'm still waiting for the cargo tray. If I needed tires today I would just get the same ones they came with because of limited availability of sizes right now on C-6.

those BFGs look SICK!!!! that might be the best looking tread design i've seen on a street tire. might have to give those serious consideration when it comes time to swap.

that aside, the PilotSports are the HEAT!!! they came stock on my G35 coupe and those things held all 3600lbs of that pig to the road like glue. great tires, but expensive with low/moderate tread life.

yeah....the bfg's are good looking....at least i think so....aggressive, unique pattern, that's for sure

and they stick good!.......tried them out at Thunderhill 3 weeks ago....i was only doing about 7 tenths, but they never once let go on me, and i felt they had a lot more room to stretch.....

good tires...

How much track time did you put on the KDW's at THill? How did the tread hold up, was there any chunking or accelerated shoulder wear?

And I almost bought those tiger paws as they have that nail feature where it will seal itself so less chance of getting stranded..

four 20-minute sessions...with no chunking at all, and only normal shoulder wear.....being street tires, i gave them two laps before i started leaning on them...they gripped as good as the stock gy tires, which is saying a lot since the stock rubber is so much softer

Almost Bait & Switch?

So, we all were AMAZED at the $287 price on discounttiredirect.com's site. I found it so amazing that I called to VERIFY that they were GOODYEAR SUPERCAR EMT tires, which I was assured they were...

Lo & Behold, my tires arrive today, and they are GOODYEAR GS-2 EMT's, NOT SUPERCARS...

Needless to say, I'm more than a little P.O'd...

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I waited to post this until AFTER I spoke to them. Jake in customer service was very apologetic about the mistake, assured me that in fact the wrong tires were pulled, and that a pair of these tires was visually verified to be IN STOCK by thier Vegas distribution center manager, and were coming to me, 2nd Day Air at no additional charge AND that UPS would be out to pick up the incorrect set @ no charge...

So, if the correct tires arrive on Wednesday, as promised, I will SING THIER PRAISES - otherwise, I'll be calling AMEX to dispute the charge...

OTOH, these GS-2's don't look to bad. There's more tread to them than the Supercars, and they're a 300 Treadwear. Anyone care to comment on how they HANDLE?

Regards,

Rick
