Default tuner or hand held?

Just bought a 2009 convertible A6 stock. Is it worth going to a tuner or getting a hand held tuner to make the transmission firmer? So far Diablosport is in the 400-500 range (unless you can find used). I think tuner is charging 600 for tunes.
Unless someone has a better option idea?

For no major mods I would suggest finding a used Diablo programmer and trying that first You can always have a custom dune done by Diablew for $150 or so and get the trans dialed in even more if you want.Had a couple of his tunes and was completely satisfied with them.Great guy to work with and awesome customer service!

I can definitely get you hooked up with a correct version Diablosport programmer and custom tune for your car... I've done thousands of those cars over the years... And I have a package deal for the programmer + my custom tuning, which includes my custom tuning at a discount...

You can email me directly at: diablo DOT help AT gmail DOT com

Thank you!

I went with my tuner (Futral) to work on the ECU..... He did a dyno and road tune (about 700.00). Worth every penny!!!! Drove like a totally different car after the tunes. You get a few ponies extra, but the tune work for the transmission is on point!!!!!
