Either can work, but the answer mostly depends on what Wideband you plan on using. If you're going to be using the AEM one that can connect over the CAN bus then you don't need to get the pro HPTuners version. If you're going to get most other widebands that don't have a CAN interface then you'll need the pro one in order to log data from the Wideband.

I won't be using a wideband. my car already has a tune and I need to save it, then need to to the car to the dealer to reflash the stock tune for smog every two years.
