Default 06 Z06 will not idle

Having an issue with getting my car to idle. Mods are in sig. Was deployed and brother drove the car and it died on him a few miles down the street. It had tr55's and I put tr6's in it. Car started right up and idled fine. Drove it 15 miles exited the highway and it died at the light. Started it up and it died again at the light. Kept it running with throttle and got it to a gas station. Filled up cranked it and it idled. Drove 2 miles to Buffalo Wild Wings and it died entering the parking lot. After that it would not stay running. Got it back to the house and pulled the vacuum line off the intake manifold that goes to the valley cover and it idles fine. As soon as I plug the line back in it dies. Checked compression and it's fine, plugs look good. Talked to nick Williams and he said it sounds like it isn't getting enough air. Unplugged the map and it died, unplugged the maf and no change...put a stock ls7 tb on it and didn't fix it...I'm at a loss...

Sounds correct that it isn't getting airflow at idle. I don't know enough about these DBW throttle bodies to help though. If it were cable I'd think IAC.

Just for giggles, check the battery make sure you got at a min 12.5 volts then i would disco the battery for 1 minute and just see if it that does anything. I had the same issue once before on another car and the battery was dying and it had a lose battery terminal. also make sure you air filter is not clogged.

Will it keep running if you give it a little throttle? If so clean throttle body. What are tr55's & tr6's?

tr55 and tr6 are ngk spark plugs. He swap throttle bodies with no change so cleaning the throttle body would have nothing to do with it. Its either not getting enough air or vacuum line is clogged but it seems to be starving for air.

I am going to clean the filter. I took it to a shop for an oil change and they said they would clean the filter and didn't. 15k miles without cleaning the haltech filter. Fml

Ok...I think I may have found the issue. When I put the fast intake on I installed it straight out of the box. We inadvertently found out last week that 4 bolts that bolt the upper to the lower were completely unbolted. You could pull them out. We pulled the intake, tightened it all down and put it back on. When I initially had it tuned I think the intake may have had a leak to begin with and they tuned around it. The idle was erratic from day one. I think over time the intake leak worsened as the bolts loosened and caused the car to die from too much air escaping the intake. Of course we tighten the intake and it's all sealed up and not getting the extra air it was compensating for in the tune, hence it running fine with the vacuum line off. So now I need to get it retuned...hopefully pick up a little power too and it fixes it
