TIS2000 on windows 8
How can I install TIS2000 on widows 8? When I insert my disk it tells me I need service pack 2, 4.01. It starts to download service pack then stops. It tells me i'm currently have a service back that's higher or newer version than 4.01. It wont let me finish download because of this. Any way around this issue?

Steps for Easy MSI Editor fix
If you're working from a CD, create a New Folder on your desktop and give it a name - like "TIS2000", then copy all files from the CD to the new folder.
Download and install the Easy MSI Editor - I got a copy here:
http://www.brothersoft.com/easy-msi-...oad-70589.html
When you run Easy MSI Editor, go to File/Open and Navigate to the TS200 install files in your new folder and choose "setup.msi"
Scroll down to the LaunchCondition table, right-click and Delete it. then save the file.
Then just run setup.exe from the TS200 install folder, which will no longer check for what Net framework edition is installed in order to load the software.

.......just run the "setup.exe" from the folder on the disk. You don't need the "Autorun" files or to edit any files.

Depends, I have run into this with some older program setup.exe that are looking for a specific edition of Net framework, and even through the machine has a newer edition of Net framework, the program will not load until it sees the specific edition that is looking for (pretty sure that its Microsoft screw up on the machine).
For this problem, I just kill the launch condition's in the setup.exe as show above, and the program loads/runs just fine with the newer Net framework that is already loaded on the machine.
