Default Intune and Diablew

Wanted to give a to Intune and Diablew (lew aka MonteSS). I have a 2010 GS without any mods with the exception of a cat back Corsa sport exhaust.

As much as I liked my GS, I felt like it was a bit lacking. I purchased an Intune and installed the canned 91 octane tune (can't get 93). This made a big improvement overall. Felt like it "woke up" the car and shift response, throttle improved.

This left me wanting more and I read several positive reviews of Lew. I can tell you that Lew is very professional and easy to follow the instructions to get him the data he needs to custom turn your car.

I went through the multi-step process with Lew, and Wow! Now I have a car that's fun to drive. Without any other mods, my seat of the pants evaluation is that he found some significant HP hiding in the LS3 that GM was hiding from us. Throttle response is much better, shift points are firmer. I still find the paddles a little bit slow to respond, but much better than stock tune.

Thanks Mike and Lew.

Absolutely, install the air intake first, then a custom tune with Lew. The air intake will change the fuel trims and affect WOT A/F ratio. Mod first, then tune.

I have used Lew for my cars and never had any problems. If you have any concerns he will respond quickly and get the question answered quickly. His knowledge is vast when it comes to GM. Unlike other tuners i attempted to use on this site he never blows you off when you need answers to ANY QUESTION. I recommend anyone on the site who is considering buying a diablo tool use Lew to tweak the canned tunes so he can get the maximum performance out of the diablo tool

sorry for delays with any of my replies - I've been in the hospital for over a month, died on the O.R. table, etc...but just got home a few days ago... still have a lot of recovery to do, so...

I am not back at doing any tuning right now... I should be back at it in a week or two...

A very good friend of mine set this up for me for my ordeal I'm going through, please share the link/info, it would be very much appreciated - Thank you! -- http://www.gofundme.com/d5nkho

Thank you!

Lew is great to work with and responds quick. I've had my tune from him over a year now and I've never had an issue.

Lew sorry to hear about your health. Hope you are better now!

I did ask Mike how diablo handles the issue and he said "they don't alter those functions" related to timing retard and air intake temp.

Lew has tuned 2 of my cars and i just want to put in my 2 cents. Lew will work on the tune from the data log you send him. He will tweak the tune until you and he are completely satisfided with the outcome. Lew is DA MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
