Default Jeremy Formato of Fasterproms Tuning in Gettysburg, PA

Jeremy Formato is returning to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania October 26-November 2!!!

If you’re interested in having your car tuned, please email or PM us with your basic info...name, phone number, vehicle and any major mods and your desired appointment date and time!

We require a $100.00 deposit to secure your appointment. You can send payment via PayPal to Jeremy@fasterproms.net or we also accept Visa, MC, and American Express.

Dyno tuning starts at $550 which includes dyno rental fees. Prices subject to change as dyno rates vary. Add $50 for Speed Density or Multi Bar Boost tuning. Add $75 for E85 tuning.

In addition to tuning, we offer porting for many factory and aftermarket cylinder heads, intake manifolds, superchargers, and throttle bodies which produce exciting dyno-proven results. We do our best to offer the most aggressively-ported manifolds money can buy and we test on the dyno and street to ensure safety and driveability. Fasterproms takes pride in offering our customers high-quality service and workmanship to make sure that you leave feeling confident.

Tuning for LT- Gen II, LS - Gen III and Gen IV, and LT - Gen V small-blocks.

Unlike most tuners, we go much further into the code when modifying timing, air/fuel, fuel economy, driveability, and torque management. We keep you involved every step of the way as we go through and alter your program file - showing you the changes we’re making, what tables we’re tweaking, and Jeremy is more than happy to help explain how these improve your vehicle. With input from your specification, we will tune the vehicle from idle, through wide open throttle, and optimize the vehicle’s full potential for power and fuel efficiency without sacrificing any longevity.

With our custom tuning we address many of the limitations the factory has placed on the vehicle. GMs minimum of 91-octane fuel allows us to gain power if we are using a fuel of greater octane. Later model vehicles lose a vast amount of power as they heat up, which we combat by altering minimum fan temps to help the car run cooler – increasing power and consistency. You also don’t have to be racing to enjoy what we can do for you. Daily drivers can still have a bit more fun on your daily commute. If it’s the pesky 1-to-4 skip shift, the hot coolant temp, lack of power, fuel economy, throttle response, slow or soft trans shifts, shift points, WE CAN HELP. The car will accelerate much smoother, have sharper response, and more power when we optimize the tune.

Intake and Throttle Body Porting

With a ported throttle body, you will feel greatly improved throttle response and in the bottom end/mid range a strong, seat-of-the-pants increase. Many liken the difference to ‘taking about 350lbs out of the vehicle.’ It truly makes the car much more fun to drive. Our Manifolds are very thoroughly ported not only in the runners but also much of the plenum and TB flange are enlarged in order to support more airflow from idle, thru the upper RPM range. The larger the air reservoir is, the less likely it is to deplete the greater volume in the upper RPM. Hence the difference of the '00 LS1 intake vs the '01 LS6 intake, a small plenum volume change gained 10 RWHP and 10RWTQ.

We also port FAST LSX manifolds. We have been modifying our LSX manifolds more extensively than our competitors and found more power in certain areas that others do not touch. We open the TB flanges as well as reshape the bell-mouth port entry and increase plenum volume, resulting in a minimum average gain of10RWHP and 10RWTQ average gain over non ported FAST's.

LS1 and LS6 intake manifolds are not ported, as we have seen no measurable gains in porting these intakes, the runners and plenum are thin and without obstruction. If an upgrade is desired we suggest the FAST 92mm LSX manifold for ’01-‘04 model years or, if you have a ’97-’00 model year, you can also benefit from a factory LS6 intake or FAST 92mm.

Based on a core exchange the Stage 2 intake manifold is currently $375.00, a stage 1 is $300.00, and if you add a ported throttle body, it's only an additional $100.00.

Horsepower and torque gains are always fluctuating based on the particular vehicle and its level of modifications, but on average when tuned the following gains can be expected :

Stage 1 LS2 - 11 rwhp/13rwtq
Stage 1 LS3 - 10 rwhp/12rwtq
Stage 1 LS7 - 17rwhp/19rwtq

Stage 2 LS2 - 17 rwhp/19rwtq
Stage 2 LS3 - 14 rwhp/19rwtq

On the LS2's and LS7's in particular, with Jeremy's tuning we have seen 30 rwhp and 30rwtq gains.

Cylinder Head and Supercharger Porting

Just like the expensive aftermarket intake manifolds, we also understand that not everyone can afford the big-dollar heads for their build. Our meticulously hand-ported and professionally-machined heads are an extremely affordable bang-for-the-buck modification that makes very good power any combination can benefit from. We can reduce chamber size for increased compression, perform a 5-angle valve job, fully port intake/exhaust sides, and assemble with high-lift springs. For LS7 owners in fear of dropping/breaking the factory valves, we can replace them with stainless valves and avoid potentially harming your engine. These modifications can be done to various levels that can fit into your budget and build.

If you own a new LSA or LS9 powered vehicle, you’re also in luck. We offer full porting service for throttle bodies, snouts, and blower cases, as well as pulley swaps and our very own solid isolators. This porting service is a good, sneaky mod that can give you that extra bump in power to provide the edge or knock down that timeslip goal with repeatable power gains.

We have been tuning for over 13 years and have literally tuned thousands of LSX-based vehicles from stock to 1100HP. We are based in FL but travel all around the country dyno tuning and porting. We know what it takes to make your car live up to its utmost potential! We will be glad to answer any questions you might have. If we don’t know we will find out. We are honest, devoted to what we do, and we will do our best to make sure that you are 100% satisfied.

I did spoke to him today.

Please put me on the list between 4-8 like he told me but I don't want to be the last one.

I don't want him to be so tired when he gets to me.

Anyway my car should be quickly. It's already tune by him is just adjusting a couple of things. Thx

Damn...just got home and saw this. Was waiting for you to get back up this way. lol.

My work schedule doesn't permit too much advance scheduling, unfortunately.
But, I'm only about an hour away from Keiths...if there's time/opening on the 7th or 8th, I'd be interested.

CNC H/C/Bolt-on LS3, A6. Already e-tuned on 60# injectors in anticipation of nitrous with Schexnady in LA. But re-installing 42#'ers and need it dialed in/cleaned up. WO2 bung in the X, for ease of access.
