Default 2009 trans tune in a 2008 A6,good results

used my HP tuner and got a 2009 stock tune from their site, loaded the 09 a6 trans tune in my 08 (except for shift speeds as mine is a 2.56 and the one i used is a 2.73.) shifts much quicker and the paddle shifting is faster and firmer. anyone else done this?

Which one's did you do? I used a few of the '09 tables as a reference to try to better the shifts. I would be interested to see your file since some of the tables aren't even sized the same from '08 to '09.

used everything but the shift speeds(mph) as my 08 has 2.56 gears and the 2009 had 2.73s. ck the tune repository at HP tuner, or pm me and i'll send you the file.

Default 2010,2009 programming for 2008 a6

I tried to download the 2010 program but got an error message that the "index was too large for the array" but was able to download and license the 2009 program and after clearing dtc from the download it started and idles fine so i'll check out the drivability and report my experience.

You need beta 2.23 when you get that message.
