Default The infamous EBTCM error messages...!

I have owned my 2005 Coupe for about 7 months. Only recently (4 weeks) have the infamous ABS/TC/AH messages (Service the Anti-lockbrake System... followed by the same for Traction Control System... followed by the Active Handling System).

I have heard of loose connections, and in some cases, possible seal leaks on the EBCM module.

From all I have learned on this forum, I believe my first step it so visit the dealer and get their "diagnosis".
Worse case scenario is they quote replacement of the EBCM. Some say this can cost $3K... but that absfixer.com is a better place to look if you want to do it yourself.

Any thoughts or advice from anyone?
Anything I should try first?
Thanks!!

I thought another candidate was the steering wheel position sensor. That is relatively easy to get to. You could try cleaning the contacts, re-seating the connector pair, and getting creative with tie wraps or electrical tape to ensure that the pair stays well-mated.

Good Thought. I appreciate you burning some brain cells over this. I'll try to check all my grounds & contacts, too. Hopefully I can avoid replacing the EBCM module - but if I do, I'll probably go aftermarket, not factory fix.
Thanks again.

a very common problem in the 05 - 06 vettes with the telescoping steering column is the connector for the steering wheel position sensor dtc C0710. GM's fix is a plasic clip that holds the terminals in the connector. part number 19179794. Now cause you dont have a tech 2 help diag this. Try unpluging the connector and pluging it back in a few times with the car off. Make sure the steering column doesnt move and road test the car to see if the light comes back on.

And now after writing all this, i just realize that you have a abs light not just a tcs/ah light. the steering wheel position sensor will not cause the abs light to come on.

Now on to my next guess

Lets start with the basics, check the battery cables and the over all heath of the battery.
GM has a bulletin out for false abs codes. check grounds g106 in the engine compartment, RR of the right side cylinder head above the starter solenoid, and g104 in the engine compartment, on the RH frame rail under the battery

but i think this is unlikely.
Without a DTC it is hard to help you
