Default The Tuning school Releases 6-Speed Tuning Guide

6-Speed Automatic Transmission Tuning Guide

The Tuning School's 6-Speed Automatic Transmission Tuning Guide will give you the transmission performance you always wanted it to be, with an easy step-by-step method you can follow. You can make the transmission shift on time, and as firm as you want - the difference is night and day!

Several students have already seen improved performance from following these easy steps. One student with a 2009 G8 GT saw a 0.3 second ET improvement with these changes. A customer commented on experiencing tire-barking improvements that they never thought possible. This tuning guide has been crafted through months of research and thousands of development miles on our test vehicles, a 2008 Chevrolet Corvette with the 6-Speed Automatic Transmission and a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT with the 6-Speed Automatic Transmission.

This 20 page guide includes step-by-step instructions with full color photos from HP Tuners VCM Editor screen shots.

Please note that if you have purchased or plan on purchasing The Tuning School Advanced Guide to Tuning GM Vehicles with HP Tuners Software, this material is included with that guide.

Price: $79

Please Visit our web site to purchase.

Does your guide cover and point out differences between the 06/07 and 08+ A6's?

The main changes to the 08 6speed was hardware changes for faster shifts for the paddle shifters and some calibration changes to quick up shifts.

Now if we could just get it into the hands of the people that attended the in-person beginner's class that were told we would receive it as soon as it was ready that would be nice.

Hello guys,

Yes, we have released the 6-speed guide. When I spoke to the class, I was mistaken about the product, as I thought it was going to be a part of the beginners guide going forward. All updates to the beginners guide are free to students, as we have always said.

The 6-speed automatic guide is actually in the advanced guide, not the beginners. After we produced the 6 speed guide, we realized it could not fit into the beginners guide and really didn't belong there.

However, since I made the mistake I will honor it for the class whom I spoke it to, from the Tampa beginners seminar in June.

To get it, please send an email with your name and serial number from your beginners guide workbook. I will send you a digital protected PDF of the guide via email, so you can print it at home.

Thanks, and sorry for the confusion guys.

Bob
