high gear at low RPM giving a larger amount of throttle
curious if any of you have observed this. Being in a high gear at low RPM giving a larger amount of throttle causing knock. Obviously not a smart thing to do but I am just curious.

I'm guessing it's just lugging the engine causing the knock

depends what your timing map looks like.. @ high load and only 800-1k rpms, my timing map is showing -18 degrees,, what is your showing?
