Default Dyno tune and emissions testing in NJ

In NJ emissions testing includes putting the drive wheels on rollers and running the car at certain speeds with the sniffer up the tailpipe. Will a tune (mail order, handheld, or dyno) with a couple of bolt ons (CAI, exhaust) interfere with emissions compliance?

They do not do this test any longer. You will be fine. Let me know if you need a tune.

Really, good to know. Its been a while since I've gotten an inspection. I think my truck might be due soon. I'm way up in north Jersey, so Delaware would be a bit of a haul. I'm thinking Vette Doctors since my family is on LI and I'm out there a bit. Also, a retired VP from work had them do all the work on his C5 and he spoke very highly of them.

the vette doctors are very good, you also have a bunch of others in central and north jersey. cartek is my tuner, i think their very very good, also ecs, anger management, and Fran at rpm in Delaware has some fast cars, the tuners in the northeast are really some of the best
