I don’t know what issue you’re talking about… I have seen this with other adapters but I put this one in the particular car that came out of and I have one in mind as well and don’t have an issue at all!

In short, yes, i ran into this issue also.
the RP5-GM11 has 2 audio ports, 1 for amp and 1 for non amp. The labeling is a bit confusing, the amp port compensate for your amp and reduce the hissing sound.
