Default 05 4l65e Torque Converter

I've got a 05 w/4l65e I'm currently rebuilding transmission on, car has a cam and is getting a turbo setup installed. I'm looking for a decent (yank, FTI, precision) converter for the car around 3200 stall. Let me know what yall got! Thanks

I believe that the converters in 2005 C6 is the same as 94-97 f bodies. Maybe look at LS1tech.com too

That's the best info I've gotten in weeks, if you look a yank or any other site for converters a f body torque converter capable of "x":horsepower is like $600 if you look at that exact same converter but for a 05 c6 its twice the price wth..

Anyway still looking to buy if someone has one

The Yank FTI Circle D converters are all worth the cost. A torque converter is not a place to scrimp.

I agree 100%, I am referring to the cost between a f body converter vs a c6 converter. Similar motor and trans major cost difference.

How is precision industries? I hear they are really good too

This is an old post but I have a fresh FTI 3600 stall multi disc converter that I don’t need if you’re still looking.
