Have no Audio experience or can tell you a solid response but I’m pretty sure it takes a second to hook them up not too complicated again no idea I’m pretty sure all aftermarket you’d have to cut wires unless they do plug and play again no idea but installed within few minutes

to answer the Bose speaker swap question , in the early years the Corvette Bose speakers in the doors had the amplifier attached to the individual speaker... later years they went to the amplifier being behind the kick plate on the passenger side. So as to depending on the year of your corvette the aftermarket speakers may need an amplifier.

I'm curious myself as I consider replacing my 2011 Bose. I read on the forums they revamped the Bose system for 2012-13 models. However every thread I come across, regardless of the year, says the door subs have their own dedicated attached amp and the rest of the speakers are powered off an amp in the passenger foot well. But I certainly don't know the real answer.
Overwhelming source of audio info I found: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ml?forum_id=20
