I've owned both. I like the look of the wider ones better. Just gives it a wider stance. Cons would be more scraping bc they extend a little lower and also your feet catch them more getting in and out of car. Need to be very conciensious of them. Warn your passengers every time. If you want some pics text me. I can show you both on different cars of mine. 2035005304

I have a dumb question for you. I bought a C6 with a rear wide body in December. Previous owner put on ZR1 skirts from RPI. How can you tell if they are regular or the extended version?

Josh- we met in Newark at the car show. You saw my GS up close, it had the standard size side skirts. I removed the extended ones because they are way too low on a lowered car. If the rear of your car is lowered on factory bolts then they would be ok, but still need to be extra careful on driveways with a steep approach. The extended side skirts sit about an inch wider and probably 1/2" lower at the rear of the skirt. That makes a huge difference on an already lowered car. I spoke to C7carbon about modifying their design to extend out the skirt without the skirt extending lower than the factory ZR1 skirt. They said they would look into it. If they ever do, I would get them, but the current design didn't work for me with my custom rear lowering bolt/delrin pucks.

Is the factory original with a couple of holes I cut in it with a dremel for heat extraction and put some stainless mesh painted transparent black and glued with two part clear epoxy.
