The OBx headers seem to be a hit or miss as far as fitment. I installed 2 so far and one was super easy fitment and the other needed some air hammer persuasion, not much but enough to make you mad.
Is you set a hit or a miss?.. If so by how much?

Ps. Not interested in buying. Just wanted to share my experience. Good headers, good luck with the sale.

Is there a fittment problem or any issues with this set that is for sale?

Do you have the mid pipe with cats that go back to the stock mufflers?

Is this set for Z06? Or is it for base C6 mufflers?

Are there any scratches or dings in them?

Are they polished stainless, or are they chrome plated mild steel?

Lsx87,
Thank you for sharing your first hand experience with OBX headers, you are appreciated.

They can't be any worse to install than the LG Streets are. They are a royal PITA.

Default OBX Headers

First, let me say these headers work perfectly. They are stainless steel, with no bends, dings, dents, etc. These headers were easy to install (however, the car was never even started with them on). I bought them for an '07 Vette LS2 and they should fit anything from an '05-'13. The reason for selling was, because I wanted a set of ceramic coated headers, which I have already purchased. As far as workmanship, I have installed a few headers in my lifetime, and these are as good of a quality as any of the BIG 3 (and you know the ones!) that's advertised on this forum, if not better. Any further questions, feel free to call me @ 606-634-8315.

Thanks,
Mike

I have a set I bought 5 years ago. Install was great, one spot would touch the frame randomly while driving so I used a long scew driver to bend the .003 or so it needed to stop rubbing. 40,000 miles later and there are no problems. The SS has changed color due to heat but that is expected on non coated SS. Great product for the money new or used. They are sometimes ridiculed on here but the fitment and longevity speaks for itself.
