About the Parts-

DBA brake rotors are known as the highest quality OEM sized replacement rotors you can buy. They last longer, and resist warping, much better than the Chinese manufactured competition.

All DBA rotors come in two flavors, Standard Series, and 4000 Series. Each of these can be purchased as slotted, or drilled and slotted.

Standard Series is mostly for street use, with occasional track use. Better than 90% of what is on the market, they will work fine for your standard driver.

4000 Series is a rotor that is just as happy on the track as the street. It features a more advanced alloy, and thermal construction. Additionally, each rotor comes with heat strips that change color when certain temperatures are reached to show you how hot to rotors have gotten.

We offer this with Hawk Pads as a package to save you money!

Hawk HPS pads are a Ferro Carbon compound similar to stock, but with better fade resistance. These pads will have the same noise and dust profile as your stock pads.

Hawk Performance Ceramic pads are a ceramic based compound that hit’s the sweet spot for most drivers. They perform basically the same as HPS, but have greatly reduced noise and dust compared to stock.


Hawk HP Plus is a true race pad with great fad resistance. You can use them on a street car, but they will be very noisy and dusty.

C6 Z06 Hawk Brake Pads also have an option for an OEM style padlet design, or an upgraded, better performing one piece design!

Russell Brake Lines take some mush out your brakes with these preassembled 50 State Legal stainless steel brake line kits from Russell. These kits are a great way to improve the braking feel and performance of your Corvette without spending a lot of money

Report - MS went the extra mile in ensuring I was looked after, very happy with their customer service.

I hit the road course this weekend (spring mountain) and the 4000's/hawk+ combo worked superbly. Much more confidence in them than the previous z51 rotor/hawk+ combo. Way more feel in the pedal and repeatable confident stopping ability even in 108F ambient temps.

Are the DBAs similar in weight to the stock Z51s? What would you recommend for a Z51 looking for lighter rotors for street and maybe a little RR track? It seems all of the lighter rotor packages are around $2k
