This appears to be a classic example of why Corvetteforum requires site users to make all efforts to resolve any disputes (whether user vs. user, user vs. vendor or vendor vs. vendor) offline before posting about them online.

It’s been our experience and observation that using the site to sling arrows, sometimes as a means to apply pressure to get a desired result, typically draws third-party band-wagon posting and often serves only to get everybody’s back up. That gets in the way of any meaningful effort to find a resolution.
It’s worse when sale threads are hijacked as part of the campaign and threats of violence are posted.

Then, when another supporting vendor takes advantage of the situation by joining the frey in an open thread the situation is further exacerbated since that’s in conflict with site rules as well. Quoting from the additional rules vendors must follow:
I don’t know whether we’ll be able to salvage anything from this situation, but I will remove the multiple posts and threads associated with this dispute which are in conflict with one or more of the above-referenced rules.
Then, I’ll ask the parties involved to make a genuine effort to resolve the issue offline. When there are updates, I’ll add them to the thread on the issue in the Transactions Feedback section.

… you may not make any direct or indirect reference to the products or services offered by a rival vendor. Instead, we encourage you to use the Forum to market and promote the attributes of your offerings.
