Default FS: Complete 2012 Grand Sport NPP Exhaust

Hey there!

I was lucky enough to replace the entire exhaust system on my 2012 GS with the z06 exhaust pipes and Akrapovic axle-back system, so I find myself with a spare, complete GS exhaust system for sale.

I have:

2 each exhaust manifolds
2 each pipes/cats
1 each H-pipe with cats (ugh, 4 cats)
2 each stock NPP mufflers with cats.

Dunno forum rules about posting prices so feel free to PM/reply with questions. Can part it out or sell the entire kit.

The car has 14k miles at the time of swap.

The rules are that you do have to post a price.

extremely high for factory exhaust... 2800 you can almost buy a complete aftermarket set-up. But I see your trying to recover from you AKRA- exhaust purchase. GLWS

Thus the "obo" part

I don't have high hopes of selling it at all, frankly -- as I'd assume most would want to go aftermarket or with the Z06 setup here in the PRK.

Couple points...

You have an "X" pipe, not an "H"...

My 2013 GS "X"...

"H" pipe (early cars didn't have the added cats)...

Price...
- The NPP mufflers (with actuators) sell all day long for $500 - $600 shipped, both on this site and the auction site
- There is virtually zero demand for LS3 exhaust manifolds. Every once in awhile you'll see a pair sell for $50-$80
- There is virtually zero demand for LS3 cats. Every once in awhile you'll see a pair sell for $100-$150. Scrap value is ~$130
- There is virtually zero demand for LS3 intermediate pipes. Every once in awhile you'll see one sell for $80 - $100

At $2800, even with "OBO", the starting point is so disconnected from reality that you're unlikely to even get a nibble. GM only charged ~$1500 to put it on the car to begin with, including the electronics.

Cool. Thanks for setting me straight.

I'll just tell the guys to junk the old parts.

Cheers!

He didn't say junk it. I replaced my stock mufflers on my 13 GS and paid $600. Your mufflers and valve assembly are where the value is. Their worth $200 to $400 all day. Lol. I threw away my stock mufflers with about 500 miles on them. It hurt, but they were the stock mufflers. Yours have value.

Sell the mufflers! $500-$600 is better than $0!

SCRAP Inc will take the cats and pay for them.

I'd be interested in buying the mufflers...
