F/S: C6 NPP (Dual Mode) Exhaust - Axle back (in North Carolina)
I have changed my 2010 coupe exhaust to Borla S-Type II.
I have my OEM NPP exhaust for sale. The car has about 14K on it but has been driven almost exclusively in good weather only so the exhaust are in excellent shape.
These have been SOLD!
NOTE: I have learned that this is a direct swap for 2009 and newer standard models (Not for Z06 or ZR1).
If you have a 2006-2008 the mid pipes are slightly different and would have to be changed or modified to use these.

I'm up here in Chesapeake, Virginia and could make a road trip for them.
Are these for the base C6? Sorry, I am not as familiar with NPP as I need to be.
But I am interested.
PM'ing you.

For anyone wondering, if you have a base exhaust, you would need to add vacuum lines to make this dual mode exhaust work on your car.
I think it is called "NPP in a box".
Also, you could add these mufflers and leave them open all the time, without adding vacuum lines.

Man, I hate this but it seems that for my 2006, I can only use a 2008 NPP exhaust.
Sorry, I really wanted this set.

I think that in all cases, the base models are 2.5" and the Z06/ZR1 are 3".

What searching revealed was that for 2006-2008 can use the 2008 NPP mufflers with pipes, and that 2009-2013 are different. There are some auto vs manual differences as well, but after the first problem, I bailed. There are some ways if you get a later X or H pipe and make it work, but there is something about the muffler pipe bends are different after 2008. There is also something about the hangers that changed, but I also didn't dig into that.

I have never heard about the differences. A friend of mine and forum member, and moderator, Johnodrake, has a 2006 convertible and has changed his exhaust several times. He was the one that helped me change out mine as well. I asked him if he knew of any reasons why these would not work with a 2006 and he said that he did not know of anything that would keep them from working on a 2006.
The pipe bends over the axle wouldn't matter as the pipes are already on the ones I am selling. Unless there is something different about the rear axle itself I don't see why these wouldn't fit. As for the muffler hangers even if those were different there is only one bolt holding each of the 4 hangers and 2010 hangers would be pretty cheap.
Maybe the mid pipes (H or X) have changed the connection points but I would be surprised if that was true.
I will do a little more research on this, as I would be surprised if these wouldn't work on earlier models.

Believe there was a small change made to the differential in 09+ for additional strength to accommodate the ZR1. So the bend on the over axle pipes geometry changed slightly.

OK, Thanks.

I have learned something new.
I have been on the forum for 5 years and had never heard of the difference in the exhaust pipe change from 2008 to 2009.
Thanks for the info.

You can use the 2009 - 2013 exhaust on 2006 - 2008 if you use the mid pipe from the 09 and up. Transmission doesn't matter. I used 2012 mufflers on my 2007 with the later mid pipe and didn't have any problems. I also used a module from Sunset Orange Creations to control the NPP operation.

FYI, 2010-20013 mid pipes run around $350-400 from Partstaxi.com if you have an 2008 and earlier Corvette and would like to add these NPP exhaust.
