I've had this for 3 months, The shiny black just doesn't seem to fit well for me . It's like new. Bought it from Southern Car Parts.

This fits 05,06 and 07 C6's, ZO6's that do not have the threaded version...... It will also fit any other year but the boot attaches differently with a metal ring. Small orange dots in the bottom 2 pic's are a reflection from overhead lights, not a defect in the ball.
I'll give you 50 bucks...... How hard is it to install and does it get hot.......

No it does not get hot, not even warm. I took it off and installed the matte black one in about 5 minutes.
