I just recently bought an 08 vette and I was wondering if anyone would like to trade their clear top for my black targa top.

Mine is in perfect condition and will send pictures upon request.

I am located in the Houston area.

Thats going to be a hail mary long shot. The clear tops are the premium top that people want. The painted tops are not in demand at all. Plus you would need to find someone with a black car to trade with so it makes the market much smaller. You are best if you offer some cash + your painted top for a clear top. There just isnt a market for the painted tops at all. Just a friendly heads up.

Thank you I really appreciate it! I'm new to the forum so I wasn't sure exactly what they were going for.

I did a search and the clear tops have been selling from about 500-700. Although I did see a trade happen so it was worth a shot.

I would throw in some cash but I'm not quite sure yet how much the black tops go for right now.

Figure around 3-4 hundred for your black top. Sales on the clear average around 7 or so.

I would offer up your top and $400. May get some takers.
