Ithat sounds good. I found one for 1800 + shipping but i would only offer 1800 shipped and he said no. I know theres better deals out there. I doubt i would offer that again but i was ready for the hunt to be over.ill just wait since i have some time

Yeah man, there's def better deals out there. There is a guy here in C5 section with a low mile D1 and bracket but he wants $2400 brackets included and im not even sure if the bracket would work on my LS3. Considering the complete bracket kit (even if it works), is worth $300 or so, he's pretty much wanting $2k-$2100 for the headunit alone.
A good used price on a D1 is $1400-$1600 IMO. Lower miles the better obviously so if the unit is really low miles (less than 3k)... Maybe $1700. That brand new D1 sold on here a week ago for $2k shipped with 0 miles on it. If I'm going to pay more than $1700 for a used D1 and still have to get a bracket to make it work, ill just order a brand new Novi 2200.
Again... This is my opinion. I've seen numerous used D1's sell for less than people have been asking lately. A google search will show them going for as low as $1200 used but that's obviously a ridiculous blow out price.

I sold it for $550 shipped meaning that the supercharger would have been $1850 by your math? Since you didn't get back to me on it I figured you are not interested. A Polished D1SC from Brute Speed is $2700. A satin one is $2400. Mine is polished and has ZERO miles on it. My bottom dollar price was $1850...VERY reasonable.
Not sure what you are expecting to find out there. Good luck in your search.

Honestly man, it was really the fact that it was rebuilt/upgraded in 2010 that had me hesitant to buy it. I was considering it while looking into a few other offers I had and because I was also on the fence between the D1SC or the Novi 2200, I didn't want to buy the bracket alone and be stuck with it it I went Novi 2200 after all. I've also been super busy and really haven't been online much nor have I messed with the car yet. Ill be ordering a 2200 soon if nothing pops up ASAP. I've waited a good while and the right deal has yet to come along. Also, once your bracket sold, that slowed down my need to jump on the deal and since then, it appears the headunit sold as well. Now for the $1700 or less it looks like it went for, I would have bought it but you were still talking $2100 for the headunit when we spoke. I've seen quite a few old threads where low mile used D1 units have gone for between $1400-$1700 so that's the range in which I'm looking to spend on a never installed or lightly used D1 considering I'd still need a bracket for it. I can get a brand new polished Novi 2200 for less than $2300 with full warranty that will slip right in my current bracket.
So... Still looking for a new/lightly used D1SC and A&A bracket or a good low mile Novi 2200.
