FS: Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel LS2, LS3, LS7- 198171
For sale is a Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel, part number 198171, that fits '05+ Corvettes (06+ Z06), excluding ZR1. It weighs only 12.9lbs.
The flywheel was "attempted" to be installed, however it was not compatible with the McLeod RST clutch that I bought due to the step. I would have returned it, but my mechanic shaved the dowel pins off for reasons unknown. From what I have read, the flywheel can be installed with no issue without the dowel pins, or the stubs can be removed and replaced with new pins if desired.
$315 shipped or $300 picked up
Note: I purchased another Fidanza flywheel that was correct for my application and the reduced driveline weight when accelerating, heel-toeing, etc. is .

FYI this will fit C5's when using the LS7 clutch. Dowels that have been cut can be removed/ replaced by hand. They are not pressed in. I would advise running dowels to ensure proper pressure plate alignment and balance of the flywheel/ pressure plate unit.
