I bought one of these for my LS2....No instructions came in the box...I called Houston to ask them to send me a set....What an a$$Hole....He could have cared less. Finally got a photocopy of the destructions...the images were so poor as to be useless...
Long story short....The Ram Air SS is still in the box, in my garage.....

Cool it dude...I am not talking bout Top Flight...As I stated in my response post above, I am talking about Ram Air SS, in Houston, Texas.
The party I bought it from didn't say where he bought it and I had no clue you sold it (At the time of frustration!) or that a nice set of color destructions were on your site!

I want to apologize to Top Flite Reproductions..It did indeed sound like I was criticizing them. Gentle readers, I was not! Top Flite is and has been, a reputable dealer. I apologize for the thoughtless omission of *who* I was directing my ire to, and also to apologize for the hijacking of Top Flite Reproductions' ad thread.

Ram air ss
I see in the install video you have to cut the shroud. This won't cause the engine to run hot since it's pulling so much air away from the radiator?

After looking over your threads I was wondering if you would do a "Group Purchase" on these with a lower price??? I think you could get enough interest, at least 3 of us right now anyway....what do you think??
MarylandSpeed is running a Summer Sale on the Vararam kits now, why not compete.
example: 80% @ 10 sales is better then 100% of no sales

I am the forum member who did the research on the unit. I have a 2013 60th Anniv. Z06, basically the bottom line is, we did four base line runs, installed the unit, then did four more dyno runs,,, we gained at the high end 26 rwhp, with no tune, just simply bolted it on, I think the low end was 23 rwhp. The unit is a quality unit, looks great, relatively easy install, and bottom line is, where can you get 26 rwhp with a bolt on product. It is worth the investment, and I am here to tell you, because "I" paid for the before and after dyno pulls.. TFR and I had some issues with the whole ordeal, but it is all resolved and I am here to tell you, that I would put one on again tomorrow. Hopefully, I will be putting one on when I get the 2016 Z06...
TFR did not incite me to write this post, I am doing it on my own, and I am totally against snake oil type BS, so that's why I am here to tell you this is the real deal...

Ram Air did a YouTube video a month ago and they just finished editing it down. They installed the Ram Air “Hammerhead” intake on a Grand Sport C6 and made +23 rwhp without a tune and with a tune made +54 rwhp.
The weather was 95F / 85% humidity in Houston (not the best for getting big numbers). Again these numbers only show the airflow improvement and not the actual ram air benefit we offer. This was also a completely independent test. Ram Air supplied the intake and installed it, but the dyno, and tuning were done by 510 Race Engineering.

I see a lot of posts about instructions...what's so difficult??It appears to be a straightforward install for what appears to be a true cai...You take the OEM stuff out by unscrewing/unbolting it.You place the new stuff over the baffle to cut the hole if it doesn't come with a precut baffle, and you install it.Not rocket science by any means.Just be careful if you cut the baffle inside the car because one slip of the knife and goodbye condenser sitting behind the baffle.A piece of cardboard between baffle and condenser might be a good idea.Good looking piece of equipment OP.
