I have one of these installed in my 08. Do you know if it can be used on a 2010 E550C?

I hate having the cord hang down.

Thanks,

Sig

Just a quick question...What can be done with the wire when not using the radar detector? In the summer I drive with the top off all summer and prefer not to use the radar detector if I'm parking the vette..(as the radar detector is easy pickings for a thief)

What happens with the wire? Can it be easily removed? or does it tuck in somewhere?

What are other drivers doing in similiar situation? Just leaving the wire dangling?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the dumb question..

Once you know where the pins go, you could easily remove the wire an reinstall in a matter of a minute. You could also get a small zip tie and use it to secure the wire down to the mirror. Honestly, its only 8" long so it really isnt noticeable.

Thanks! I just ordered this. I need it as I hate that cord coming out of the cigarette lighter.

I appreciate your communication and your great price.

Have a nice day.

I just purchased one and have a question. Do you have to remove the wires in the mirror and push them in together or just push real hard .I'm afraid pushing too hard might break the clip, I have a tendency to do that sometimes but the pins won't stay in.

No, dont remove any wires. Just push the pins between the wires that are in that harness. You wont break it.

I just got mine and it works great. Make sure you install it on the top of the wires in the harness and not from the bottom.
