I'll answer it here publicly for those wanting to know as well.

We can do both the 2 and 7 but with the refundable core charge of $400, some folks are opting to take it off and send it to us first. That way they aren't charged the core deposit. Of course this could cause a downtime for some so we can also send them out for the $550 shipped and then you would get the $400 back after we receive your core.

Appreciate all the support and remember, we also paint to match for only $45 more!

Depends. Most of what I'm set up for would be GM factory colors. What you thinking??

Just got another shipment in of Throttle Bodies. We have in stock ready to ship LS3 versions which almost never happens so if anybody wants in, get in!

Painted and Unpainted!

Thanks CF for all the support!

Now if there was a couple of ya that wanted CAR, then sure, I'll do it for ya. At least that way it would be more cost and time effective for y'all.

Now, I can rock Crystal Red Tintcoat or Red Jewel Tintcoat all day for ya.

Got ya. Might be tough to match the Candy off another item too. Food for thought.

For sure, let us know as black is a color that gets painted just about every day.

Thanks!

Why is your core charge $400 when a new 2009 LS7 TB is $142 on Ebay?

So here's the skinny.

The $142 unit you're most likely mentioning on fleabay is the #12605109 (gold throttle body blade). While it will "work" on a LS7, it's not the same as the LS3 TB's in their operation. It's internal limits are set differently. Some folks actually replace the 3's with 7's saying that they "respond" better....jury still out on that imho.

The LS2 and 7 however are one in the same and use part number #1250790 (silver blades used on these).

I've actually ordered "LS7" throttle bodies on fleabay and received part #12605109 so just make sure you can confirm which one you are getting when/if you ever go that route.

With that being said, if somebody wants a 2/7 and has the same in the core return, the deposit is a little more since it costs a little more than the LS3 units.

Currently the cheapest I've found a genuine 2/7 is here. Perhaps when folks wanna do a 2/7 we can figure out a core charge that works well for everybody.

Our goal with the core charge is merely to cover replacing the TB when/if one is ever lost or damaged in shipping so that we can continue to serve our end users by being in stock. Believe me it happens more often than you might think. Unfortunately.

Hope that helps additionally and again, always here to serve and make life a little more fun for those who choose to.

Thanks for all the support CF!!

Absolutely! PM Sent and again, thank you for the business!

Appreciate all the weekend orders folks. We have more rolling in slowly and they're being sold almost as fast as we can get them so that's awesome! Moving them out fast and the painted versions are really a great deal for those wanting to get that custom look under the hood.

I can't say how awesome it is to see them installed!

Thanks guys and gals!
