Default Want A Factory Widebody Conversion? Contact The Widebody Experts At GM Parts House !

Hello All,

Thank you for checking out our conversions thread. Are you interested in us selling you a complete conversion? Do you need just portions of the conversion because you bought the panels elsewhere? Have you purchased a conversion from someone else and they left you with a mess? We can help you out with all of that. We are very experienced in selling these conversions and what is needed to make your conversion complete.

GM Parts House is the pioneer in conversions since the Z06 was available in 2006. I started out with what I thought was enough parts to do the conversions. Through people yelling at me on the phone, literally, and through several customers doing more than one conversion, some up to 3 or 4, I have compiled a list over the last 5 years that is complete. GM Parts House does have the reputation on the forum for providing a complete conversion.

Of course, I will sell you pieces of the conversion or you can add or remove certain items. If you have fenders or quarter panels already we have the list of remaining parts necessary for you to complete the conversion.

If you would like to discuss conversions or want a quote on individual pieces, or your own special project, please send me an email, gene@gmpartshouse.com or give me a call @ 484-949-2099. I am the king of conversions!

Thanks. Gene.

I am interested in doing just the rear zo6 wide body to my base c6. My question is would I have to change wheel sizes in the front due to the increase in the rear?

Default c6 wide body, rear only

I have 09' c6 and am also wanting only to do the rear wide body... Any recommendations on tire/wheel size? 19x12 +59 offset or +79?????
with 325/30-19???? front I was gonna go 18x9.5 with factory offset (+56) ????? should I go +40????? anyway, just want the right stance? any help would be much appreciated.

If you are just doing the wider rear and don't expect to change out your brakes to z06 brakes, then go with +56 offset for the front and +59 (Z06 offset) for the rear.

Tires, 245 to 265 on the 9.5" wheels for the front, and the 325/30/19 should work on the rear.

No, you don't have to change your brakes.

BUT, if you were planning to go to Z06 brakes, the offset that I suggested for the front wouldn't work as Z06 brakes are larger than your current brakes.

By the way, you can use your OEM front tires on the 9.5" wide wheels. I did that with no problems.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm also considering the wide booty (Z06 style).

I'm wondering how the car handles with the stock 245's on the front and 325's on the rear? Seems like it would cause severe understeer.

Also, I've seen guys running Z06 wheels all the way around with front 275's and stock front fenders and they don't seem to stick out. Is there a reason NOT to do that?

We do not sell pre-painted parts. You must take care of that on your own.

Are these prices shipped? If not give me a shipped price, with tax for a z06 rear kit, and a grand sport front kit to 43055. Please separate the pricing for each kit. Thx, Shawn.

Shipping is additional and would depend on what is gotten. If just a rear kit shipping would be 100.00 to buisness or residential. If front and rear it would be 165.00 to a buisness or 280.00 to a residence

There are some minor other little things that would be needed to be changed along with the fenders but you would already have the bulk of the items. Please email me at patrick@gmpartshouse.com and I can work up a price on exactly what you would need
