Which do you want? A Z06 BiMode or an NPP? Two different muffler sytems that do not interchange.

An exhaust switch can be installed on either. I'd recommend any of the ones from http://sunsetorangecreations.com/

The main difference is pipe diameter but internally the mufflers are different, the tips are different and they sound different.

The 2008 NPP will bolt on to any C6 2005 to 2008.

The 2009 NPP to current will bolt on to any C6 2009 to current but requires a 2009 or newer midpipe to bolt to a 2005 to 2008.

The Z06 BiMode will NOT bolt on to any C6, cutting and welding is required to fit a Z06 BiMode to any C6 any year.(except maybe the 427 convert?)

The simple answer to your question.

The NPP system is 2.5 inch diameter pipe and works on the GS and base model.

The Bi-Mode system is 3.0 inch diameter pipe and works on the Z06 and ZR1.

The difference is the size of the pipe. 2.5 vs 3.0. People say you can change the pipe size, but it will be a great deal of work and you may not have proper exhaust for the car.

Hello, I have a 2008 Z06 Exhaust which is the Bi-Mode System. Have the X-pipe and Both Mufflers, that has the Flaps for the 3500 rpm to WOT. They were Removed from the Car at around 1500-2000 Miles and they Look Like they were Just taken off a New Car. I do Not have the Cats or the Manifolds. I am Located in Ormond Beach,FL just North of Daytona Beach. Contact Info 313 520-0166 or hrly94@yahoo.com ask for Jim
