Default NEW 325/45/17 M&H Racemasters, 3 passes/<10 miles

I have only had the tires mounted for a week, I have one street drive on them to test fitment (<10 miles), one night at RPR and made 3 passes. Tires hook awesome at the track but way too tall for my 3.42 gear/M6 combo. I have the receipts for these tires and I just pulled them off of the wheels today.

I'm going back to a 26" bias ply.

The tires still have most of the rubber ******* on em...

I paid $562 shipped for these last week. I'd like to get $400+shipping for them. (Or local pick up, Houston Area.)

Thanks for looking.

I have a 3.42 gear ratio m6 grand sport. Why were they to tall? I'm might try them out.

My MN12 tranny has a crappy gear spread from 3rd to 4th... Once I go into 4th on the 28"s, my rpms drop to 4500... seems to take forever for the RPMs to climb back up.

I only made 3 easy passes on these, but once I got to WOT in 1st they held the power no problem... that was at 830rwhp...

This was my first time out to the track with this car... My MPH was WAY off... I think it was due to the car falling on its face at the bottom of 4th... I only went through the traps at 5800 on the 28"s.

You need some power to pull 28s, but more importantly you need to be going faster before the shift to 4th.... A regular T56 tranny with the standard ratios will have less rpm drop into 4th because you will be going faster in 3rd...

But I don't see you picking up MPH from a 28" tire....unless you are running out of gear in 4th....(which I doubt with 3.42s unless your car traps 150 mph)..

If you want a tire that is going to hook good for you on the track, these are them... If you need a tire to increase your trap rpm, these are NOT them...

Thanks man. I'm running a 325/35/17 nitto Nto5r, close to 26". I trap just under 130. I was thinking of a 28" tire.
