RKT56 ported intakes/TB service
RKT56 is proud to offer LS intake/throttle body porting service. We cover LS6/LS2/LS3 and LS7 intakes and LS1/LS6/LS2/LS3 and LS7 throttle bodies. In addition to LS intakes, porting services to further enhance FAST intakes is also available. All services will be performed by a local porter that has been in the industry for over 5 years. If you don't see any HP gain, we will offer a full refund.
Pricing:
LS1/6 Throttle Body = $100
LS2/3/7 Throttle Body = $125
LS6 Intake = $125
LS2 Intake = $175
LS3/7 Intake = $175
FAST 90/92/102 = $200
These are average gains for mildly modded cars. Obviously the result will very depending on your mod level.
LS6 = 5-10hp
LS2 = 10-15hp
LS3 = 10-15hp
LS7 = 10-15hp
TB Before

Intake Before
Intake After
Intake Before and After Comparison
Results are in. We had a customer bring in his 2005 LS2 GTO. It was a bolt on car, the following mods are:
Pacesetter LT headers
Catless Mid pipes
Lingenfelter CAI
Tune
Monster Stage 3 clutch
STOCK CAM
STOCK HEADS
All dyno runs were done the same day, the car intake was swapped while still strapped to the dyno. It only took a short time to swap the intakes.
Out with the old...
In with the new...
The only change made to the tune was to correct the Air Fuel Ratio back to 13.1. This is where the AFR was on the before dyno runs.
RESULTS
Before
Run 1: 374.72hp 375.32tq
Run 2: 372.56hp 376.39tq
After
Run 3: 388.24hp 388.64tq
Run 4: 381.68hp 384.02tq
The results, an increase of 13.52hp and 13.32tq. But it's not just peak horsepower. You can see it's a consistent increase through out the RPM range.
A better flowing cam and the increase in HP/TQ would of been more because of the increased air flow.

Good to see some real numbers around here. Thanks for posting the results and definitely a bang for buck mod. My friend and I both have Zs with the same mods except mine has the ported intake and it pulls so much harder then his on the low end.

Do your prices reflect just the cost to port, or is the labor to remove, reinstall, and adjust A/F included? Ryan told me the awesome work you did, made me regret not coming along. What's the turn around for something like this? Is it something where I can come up and have it done while i wait, or do you send the parts out?
Also I know Ed seems to come up there quite a bit, would you be able to set me up with him to tune my car next time he comes up. That way I can kill two birds with one stone.
