SOLD Custom A6 automatic transmission cooler kit SOLD
SOLD to BigMay60 Custom A6 transmission cooler kit capable of keeping your C6 or Grand Sport automatic transmission cool on a road course or quickly cooling off at the dragstip, ducted through fog light opening.
I built this cooler setup to keep my A6 cool in the Florida heat on road racing tracks. It works great keeping the trans. cool even running hard at the Sebring 24 hour course in the middle of the summer.
This cooler along with my Chuck COW transmission tune allowed some great lap times, as well as keeping temps safe.
It is a complete ducted setup with automatic that works for a narrow body or Grand Sport A6 automatic transmission. May even work for the person who sticks an A6 in a Z06.
Large B&M transmission cooler with fan and thermostat #70297.
Professionally made and pressure tested #6 Earls Perform-O-Flex Hose with Earls Swivel-Seal hose ends.
Proper fittings to hook to factory or Dewitts radiator & stock transmission lines. Set up to flow through radiator then pass through cooler and back to trans.
Aluminum mounting brackets, vibration isolators, and aircraft hardware.
Radiator shroud for ram ducted air from fog light opening, race-mesh screen for opening and cover race mesh piece for drivers fog light for looks.
Vented narrow body wheel well liner so you don't have to cut yours.
Pre wired electric solenoid with plug and play activation using fog light switch for fan, or automatic thermostat activated fan if not using foglight switch.
Will supply full installation instructions, detailed photos & phone support if needed.
SOLD to BigMay60 $275 shipped CONUS, from Orlando Florida

I'm Interested, when its mounted does it take the place of the fog light, and if so is there a way to mount it so I don't have to remove the fog light. Let me know, I live in Davie Florida and coming up to Orlando next month so I could just pick it up. If its easier you can text me pics at 954-805-6645. Thanks

The only way I found to get a big enough A6 trans. cooler in the car for track use is to put it behind a fog light, and duct high pressure air to force feed it. This is a professional grade setup that actually works on track.
Note my other post on engine oil cooler which goes in front of the radiator.
Bumper cover must be removed to access install. Not a simple project, but it truly works great.
When battling heat some compromises must be made.
I was actually able to run some faster lap times around Sebring than Z06's and GT3's as the auto allowed me to accelerate harder while shifting on the power.
