These are actually LS7 headers for an LS3......What Stainless works should be peddling for these cars instead of what they do as these are ideally suited for this application (LS3). The Primaries are 1.875 and are quite long in comparison to what they sell for these cars. This promotes better average power through the rpm band than the shorter primary that they sell. The headers are a direct fit as the exhaust port in the same as LS7. The center section if 3" od , all the way back to where the mufflers hook up which is 2.5" to meet all non LS7 cars. If you were to buy these for a LS7 car you would need to buy the last pieces of the center section ( L& R) from Stainless Works so that the angle and diameter would match the LS7 mufflers. These are GREAT headers for an LS3, as they were intended for this gentlemans build. You cannot just buy this kit, it is special....and complete :>)
This gentleman asked me to post. I installed and spec'd this out when he bought his car, and just removed them for him as he has something different to play with now..

looks like in pic 1 they're rusting but stainless steel don't rust... What else would make them look like that? You say there custom... What did you have done to make it work with ls3 from an ls7? not that it matters to much but I had my borla axle pipes extended with a 3in adapter welded on to fit the ls7 h -pipe. I'm interested in your system and sent you a pm

What makes them custom:

1-7/8" only available in Z06 models
Comparing images on current stainless works headers (http://www.stainlessworks.net/produc...12&engine_=627) versus these, notice the length of the primaries (ie how far the collector is down stream versus what they sell).
