Please help with shipping suggestions, I have a few guys interested in some of the parts, but don't know who to use. I Googled shipping companies, and they are all way too expensive, then I called Greyhound shipping, and they don't ship anything more than 100lbs. I would appreciate any input. thanks

Burning Brakes
I like to use Forward Air trucking. There is a terminal in Sacramento.
www.forwardair.com
You need to put the engine on a pallet securely and I typically enclose it as a crate. Their rates are around 55 cents/lb. If you ship a lot of items you should sign up as a member as their rates drop down to around 35 cents/lb depending upon destination. Call them to confirm. A typical 40x48 pallet made into a crate is around 75lbs.
