I've come to realize that the quality control team at Bowling Green is so inept that the customers are faced with adjusting the bumpers on the trunk/hatch to such a degree to get the best panel fit with the rear bumper and rear quarter panels that it causes the release mechanism to not do its job of popping the trunk/hatch properly. Thanks for making a product that corrects GM's lack of quality.

Could you send me a pm? I just ordered some seat covers from you but they won't ship yet and I would l ento add this item to my order and have it ship together. Also, could I see how the install works? Ready to make an order!

Did this work for your Vert? I have an 06 and it held the decklid up(so it was not flush with surrounding panels) when closed , like there was too much pressure on it?

Corvettemods thinks of everything. Do you have one that would work on a c5z?

I know it's supposed to be flush , but on my 06 Vert, it exerts to much pressure on the lid and is NOT flush. Hence I removed it . Perhaps a photo of the spring in place on a Vert would help?
