They are actually 1295 shipped I think 900 is a good deal considering you are also getting the leather storage bag

Who the hell are you talking to like that? You have 12 posts on this forum and your telling people where and how to post. Your funny and should really learn your place. Agent was not low balling in any way and simply stating fact. Sorry to the OP but I just had to intervene.
Oh and to the OP I've shipped out a couple of these tops and because they are 2" to big they are considered a large package and cost upwards of 150-200 to ship. Make sure you ship it using A ups store and have them package it for you. If packaged yourself and it breaks in transit they will not cover it.

The way agents repetitive posts knocking his asking price is all I was being critical of. If it's worth 900 to him then let it be. Just saying. .
"learn your place" i find that funny considering your defending a car forum. Anyways. .
I just took agents posts as rude sounding as though he was mocking him for wanting $900.
Maybe I read to deeply into it. My apologies.

I agreed to meet agent even half way and gave him a hell of a deal at the end and he just pm me no its ok I will just wait for a better deal. This top was only used a couple of times and is in perfect condition. and if you were not going to buy after asking repeatedly for a lower price you should have just not made an offer....
BTW Top is still for sale at the new Price
And I do know how to package this tops this is not the first one that I sell.... FYI

This is a copy and paste from the forum rules page-
"If you don’t like the price or item being offered in for sale thread, take it to e-mail or PMs. Better still, just move on to a thread that is offering something you like the price on.
If you post a criticism of the price or the quality of the item being offered, you will be in violation of Forum rules and subject to sanctions."

So you cant put in an offer or ask for a better price? i wasnt criticizing his price. only reason i quoted another price is so he wouldnt think i was low balling him. i was willing to pay 800 and maybe he would accept it. instead of saying 800 i asked if he could do a better price since i was somewhat local. Hes located in DEEP south (valley) texas and there arent too many vettes around there compared to other areas of the country. his market for local sales isnt that large and the 100 bucks may have been worth not having to go through the trouble of shipping it (as i here they are a pain to ship). if 900 plus shipping was his best price then he would let me know and i would leave it alone. sheesh some of you guys are like forum ****! if he wanted 900 then great but it DOESNT HURT TO ASK!
Just my 2 cents!

I would think that if someone was selling something and you wanted to question their pricing, wouldn't it be more respectful to send a email or PM? If you were selling a car would you want someone to come up while showing it to someone else and say "hey someone down the street has one for less" that to me would instantly make the seller unhappy with you as a possible buyer. Where if you simply talk with the seller privately and say the same thing, it's no big deal because that is part of negotiating.

Still available? I would need to have this shipped to WI? Do you think this is possible without damage. Send e-mail to mheinze@cray.com. Please confirm you are OBO? Thanks Mike
