Akrapovic catback
Akrapovic Stainless catback. This is the axle back only. Comes with carbon tips. I bought this for my car but didn't want to convert my exhaust all over to 3" (2 1/2 now since I have a coupe). New in the box. Asking 1600. May trade for cam.

ok... I take it that the flap flap mechanism is there in the picture. But I can't see it clearly. It does not look the same as their website. what gives?

Not sure what you mean about looking different, akrapovic only makes one setup for corvettes. The exhaust valves or flaps are on the upper pipe in the 2nd picture and on the outer pipes in the first picture. With akrapovic you need to swap the actual vacuum actuators over from your stock exhaust to move the valves you see.
Thanks Tim for posting the pictures!

This is a great system, awesome price, I have the TI EVO cat back with CF tips, u will not be disappointed, those CF tips look bada$$ out the back, zero drone and a great blap blap at idle sound. Don't pass this up...

How loud are they in the flap closed mode VS stock? Do you get any drone in the closed position?
thx

They make both the stainless and titanium versions, and that is correct this is the stainless version (still lighter than stock). The Ti system is over 3k just for the axle back. The tips are the standard size, ~4.5" I believe. I don't think they released the 'smaller' carbon tips yet but I may be wrong. Akra does not include the actuators but I'll include them, my buddy had an extra set anyway. Answering PM's in the order I recieve them and goes to first commitment, not 'im interested' or 'im thinking about it'.... just trying to be fair to everyone.

RamAir972003 I truly believe you are on to something. Communication was excellent with the OP until I asked for two contact numbers. Being his profile stated he is in law enforcement, I thought that would be a non issue. Right after asking, he never responded. That was 2 days ago.
