care to tell us what happen to the headunit and why it needs repairs?
what brackets are needed that you are missing?
you should really list EXACTLY what is included in the sale.
thanks

Here is a pic of the system out of the box...

Here is the pic of the system on the ECS website;

If you can see the missing parts are; pipe that goes between intercooler and TB, shroud, Injectors, few bolts & brackets (most of them are in the plastic bag) and air filter.

I believe the price is MORE than fare

can you tell us exactly whats wrong with the head unit so a potential buyer could have a full understanding of the repair they will need to have done?

no trying to bash the seller but the only way to determine what a person is really getting out of this "kit" is to mail it to ECS have them go through the kit to determine what is salvagable and what needs to be replaced and post up those parts and their prices. The buyer really does not know what they are getting. A BIG leap of faith I would be willing to take but not at the $1500 price point.

^^^ agreed, i'd prolly be a buyer at $1000. i bought a used blower kit once for 2500, i had to put another 1500 in misc pieces like fittings and plumbing, fuel, etc. i could have bought a whole new kit for $4500.

looking at the headunit, looks like the intake diamete is bent. but seller makes no mention of other problems with it. if a headunit needs rebuilt, figure 500-800 alone just for that.

seller, i suggest posting up a lot more info.
Why is the kit off the car or why is it missing all those pieces.
what did the kit make (horespower) when it was on the car (also, what kind of C6?)
any pics of it installed?

with only 2800 miles on it, how the heck did it get soo "used"???

interesting. so this kit was for sale before at it was "advertised" as having 3500 miles. So how does it have 2800 miles now? Driving in reverse? A bit of buyer beware here as this kit was sold once and returned. Starting to look shady in my mind.

First, I make a mistake on the miles before but when I realize it it was sold, sorry about that but have around 2800 miles on it. it was on my 07 C6 Z06

The other buyer let off the deal after receiving it (decide to go other route) when I receive the system back it was missing more part (but I don't want to get in that old discussion) The car was totaled but the system only receive that bent on front of the head unit, I didn't open the head unit because I'm not a tech for that and here on the island there are no S/C tech's... if the repair is $800 you are way off of a good used kit on the market.

I show in the pics what is missing, pipe that goes between intercooler and TB, shroud, Injectors, few bolts & brackets (most of them are in the plastic bag) and air filter. you can call ECS and ask for part prices, its better that way. I bet you will have a good FINAL price for the kit after the $1,500.00 that I ask

I believe the price is MORE than fare, this kit cost $5,895.00 w/o shipping

Serial number of the head unit;

where are the missing parts to the kit? I would assume some parts got damaged in the collision, but would be curious where the injectors and misc. bolts would be. shouldnt those have been taken off of the car along with the rest of the kit?
