Default FS:(New/Takeoff) - 2011 Z06 CARBON Ed. Carbon Fiber Hood (CT)

For sale:

edit:12/11/11 SOLD!!! Thanks CF.com for looking

edit:8/10/11 Another Carbon Z06 hood has become available - Pics would be the same for this new, takeoff hood from a rare Z06 Carbon Edition

2011 Z06 CARBON Edition Corvette hood.

VERY Lightweight, shave weight off your track car or add a distinct look to your Corvette with this factory take-off hood from an ultra-rare Z06 CARBON Edition.

This hood weighs ~ 14 lbs. and is carbon fiber in construction

Retail Price is $5982.29 from Chevrolet
.

We are offering this hood for $3,000.00 + shipping costs

Again, this is a factory take-off hood from a Z06 CARBON and has the high-rise center.

This hood is said to be lighter than the ZR1 hood, as the window apparently adds a bit of weight

Hood is located in Old Lyme, CT. Zip 06371

Hood hardware is NOT included - sale is for just the hood.

Thank you for looking at this ad

Nice car, it will be a beast with the conversion.

The owner made a mistake in not keeping the OEM hood, IMO, you just never know.

Totally agree. Although, if this sells at his current asking price, he'll most likely make money and have gotten the hood he really wanted. Can't fault that!

I'll bring you my veloicity yellow hood (premium paint!) for an even trade!

Nice piece - this would be a great "mod"!

Thanks for the offer, but we'll have to pass...

This is a great price @ nearly 50% off the MSRP of the hood price from GM. Please let me know if you have any questions or an offer

But then you would have to buy a can of Chevy's protective coating for the carbon fiber. That would only add .....what?.........$65,000 to the final price of the hood.

Will this hood with the "high rise" option fit a maggie supercharger?
