HUD harness, do I have enough interest to justify manufacturing???
I have installed a few C6 HUD kits locally here in CT
I have the capability to have the harnesses manufactured
Do I have interest in the HUD harnesses?
The HUD projector, switch, and bezel will cost <$300(new GM parts)
Harness cost would be $80(not available through GM)
What sets me apart from other suppliers of the HUD harness?
it's simple, CUSTOMER SERVICE, I have the firsthand experience installing these parts and will be available via pm, email or phone to help you get this project completed

Would this harness require tapping into existing wires, or would it plug in between existing harnesses? I would buy one in a second if it didn't require wire taps or cutting and splicing.

I think you'll have a difficult time finding anyone with experience at that source
It allows the HUD to be added to a C6 that did not come from BG that way

It may not be practical, depending on where the 6 wire connections are. But it sure would be much more of a "plug and play" than having to tap into existing wires.

I haven't seen the connections that need to be made, but I would expect that any wire that needs to be tapped into connects into it's destination via a molex plug of some kind. You could create an intermediate harness which plugs in between both plugs - and provides the connection that's needed for the HUD.

If someone could come up with some form of the harness that allowed for true plug and play, Id be interested.

You can replace the whole non- hud harness with a factory hud harness. I have done the install myself and it wasn't a big deal tapping into the harness with the aftermarket harness. Another solution is go buy a Corvette with Hud already installed
