Gene, I decided to take you up on your challenge...I was having the oil changed on the car yesterday at a very large local Chevy dealership that offers a complete accessory line. The parts man said that he'd beat virtually any other dealer's price on a like item. I gave him the part number for the splash guards and he checked pricing. He told me that even he couldn't buy them for that price and questioned if the guards were blems or seconds. I told him "no" everything was first quality, from a GM dealership. He said he'd love to earn my business, but couldn't afford to sell them at a loss.
I gave him two other part numbers and he checked pricing. He looked up at me and said that he couldn't match those prices either.
I'm working with Patrick now on ordering some of those items.
